Lubricants manufactures a range of quality industrial oils
and lubricants for the automotive, agricultural, metalworking
and general engineering industries. Additionally the factoring
of products such as anti-freeze and other ancillaries is
provided as part of the Company's service. Our policy is
to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions
for all our employees, providing appropriate tools, equipment,
operational processes and safe systems of work covering
all our activities.
1.
Our management accepts the responsibility for applying the
above and for providing information, instruction and training
at all times and for the duration necessary to achieve this
purpose.
2.
Other people may be affected by our activities i.e. visitors,
neighbours, contractors etc and our management accepts the
responsibility to provide appropriate levels of safety for
them.
3.
We will provide suitable facilities and/or make the necessary
arrangements for the welfare of our employees at work.
4.
We will comply with all applicable occupational health and
safety legislation and any other requirements to which we
subscribe.
5.
Where risks to safety and health need to be assessed under
a specific duty or regulation, we will ensure that an assessment
and all actions shown to be necessary will be implemented.
6.
Should any of our activities endanger the health of any
employee, such activities will be monitored and where necessary,
arrangements for health surveillance made.
7.
We will provide suitable information regarding the safety
or safe use of our services and/or products.
8.
We plan to minimise the risks created by work activities,
products and services, organise ourselves in a way that
secures involvement and participation at all levels and
measures performance against our pre-determined standards.
9.
We are committed within all levels and within all functions
of the organisation to continual improvement of our health
and safety performance.
10.
Our commitment to this policy will assist us to develop
a positive health and safety culture throughout all areas
and activities.

Environmental
Policy Statement

of products such as anti-freeze and other ancillaries is
provided as part of the Company's service. Our objective
is to create a climate of excellence, not only in our products
and services, but also for our employees, persons affected
by our activities and the environment. In order to achieve
this the following policy has been established. We will
manage our activities to minimise wherever practicable their
effect on the environment. In this we are committed within
all levels and within all functions of the organisation
to continual improvement.We
recognise that this will only be achieved through regular
monitoring of our environmental performance. With this in
mind we will set environmental objectives and targets, which
will be regularly reviewed to ensure continual improvement.
Our
Environmental Policy commits the organisation at all levels
to ensure we: -
1.
Identify any risk of pollution arising from any of our activities,
products and/or services, which shall be either eliminated
or effectively controlled to meet or exceed all regulatory
requirements relating to the environment.
2.
Reduce to a minimum unnecessary use of materials, resources
and energy. Reduce to a minimum all future developments
and carry out an appraisal of the environmental effect of
sourcing of raw material.
3.
Reduce waste to the lowest practicable level ensuring responsible
disposal of waste created and received, undertaking environmental
audits, measuring the results against established targets.
4.
Advocate employee involvement in all environmental matters,
providing suitable training and support to all employees
with regard to this environmental policy.
5.
Minimise any environmental effects caused as a result of
our activities, products and/or services adopting the technique
of BATNEEC (Best available techniques not entailing excessive
costs)
6.
Ensure that any persons working on our behalf are made aware
of and agree to comply with this policy.
7.
Seek to ensure that products and/or services supplied or
provided by third parties can be used, handled, stored and
disposed of in a manner which safeguards the environment
and the health and safety of all.
8.
Undertake a review of this policy in the light of any new
knowledge, changing legislation or public concerns.
