These specialised lubricants are formulated for extreme operating
conditions, where more conventional types of oils and greases
prove inadequate and frequently break down. Their ability to withstand
these demanding conditions results in longer lubricating intervals,
reduced usage of product and prolonged component operating life,
giving significant cost and efficiency benefits. GB UNIGREASE
products are designed for the following range of applications:
CHEMICAL
RESISTANT
Incorporating
chemically-resistant inert compounds including base oil, thickeners,
anti-oxidants, corrosion inhibitors and solid lubricants, all
essential for an effective chemically-resistant grease, operating
within a temperature range from -20°C to +180°C.
DUST/DIRT
RESISTANT
Provide protection against the ingress of
dirt and resultant abrasion and wear, enhanced with a thickener
which forms its own seal and is combined with the inclusion of
molybdenum disulphide. Suitable for temperatures from -20°C
to +175°C.
FOOD/STERILE
ENVIRONMENT
Incorporating FDA-listed ingredients
for incidental contact with food stuffs, these lubricants are
formulated to USDA H1 requirements. Specially selected base ingredients
and corrosion inhibitors ensure protection of equipment and longevity
of the lubricant during frequent wash-down. Suitable for operating
temperatures ranging from -50°C
to +165°C.
HIGH
LOAD AND SHOCK
A
number of greases are available which use extreme-pressure additives
and/or solid lubricants to separate metal surfaces, thus reducing
wear and friction. Suitable for operating in conditions from -20°C
to +150°C.

HIGH
TEMPERATURE
Suitable for temperatures up to
600°C,
these greases are made using thermally-stable base oils and
thickeners, and include anti-oxidants to enhance performance.
LOW
TEMPERATURE
These greases use base oils of specific
viscosity to lubricate effectively at temperatures as low as
-60°C.
They are blended using anti-corrosion agents to protect against
the effects of condensation.
WATER
RESISTANT
This grease combines an appropriate
water-resistant thickener which will not readily emulsify, with
a corrosion inhibitor to protect working parts against rust.
Suitable for temperature conditions from -20°C
to +150°C.
